Jimmy

Jimmy Martin is one of the most beloved entertainers in the Twin Cities area today. Pianist, vocalist, composer, conductor, director - Jimmy’s talents are both remarkable and rare.

A prodigy at age 3, Jimmy began his professional career at age 5, appearing as the piano soloist with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. He has been amazing and delighting audiences ever since.

A classically trained musician of the highest order, Jimmy has performed on the world stage - Carnegie Hall and Dublin‘s National Theatre to name just two. But Jimmy’s heart is with his audience and the music they love - Cole Porter, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Gershwin, and an occasional touch of classic rock. From the stage Jimmy reaches out to his audience - with music, with humor, with remarkable stories about remarkable people. To see and hear Jimmy play is to connect with the music, and the musician, in a truly memorable way.

Born and raised in Ohio, and in demand everywhere, Jimmy has chosen Minneapolis as his home. If you come to see Jimmy at Ivories, you’ll feel that Minneapolis is your home too.

Relax and enjoy some of Jimmy's work........
